Children in Need at Beaulieu was a great success
BBC South Children in Need came live from Beaulieu on Friday. Pudsey was joined by BBC presenter Lizzie Greenwood and BBC South Today's Roger Johnson along with a host of fund-raisers from across the region, raising over half a million pounds in total.
The Beaulieu staff handed over a cheque for £2000 which was raised from a quiz night, silent auction, cake sale and staff donations. The crowd were entertained by local choirs and dance groups including Southampton Ukulele Jam.
£968 was also raised at Beaulieu when Radio Solent’s Jon Cuthill brought his yellow car rally to the attraction.
